The future creeps slowly towards one
the present is arrowswift, and
I have learnt the past haunts
being forever motionless

then the veils of pain and loss
were to be hung by fate
upon my face
The veils, like unwelcomed companions
cling still as I write these words
but may slip away and fall
at the story's end...
